Personal-care brand Clensta, backed by actress Parineeti Chopra, is in advanced negotiations to secure $10 million in Series B funding. Amazon is expected to participate alongside TradeCred, Arrow Capital, and Jafco Asia.
Investment Structure: TradeCred is likely to lead, with Amazon’s SMBhav Venture Fund joining the round.
Growth Focus: Clensta plans to use the funds to increase offline and online presence, expand internationally, and boost product lines.
Impressive Growth: FY24 revenue reached Rs 78 crore, showing 129% YoY growth.
Challenges: The company faces employee payment delays linked to performance-based metrics, which are expected to be resolved soon with this funding.
