Buyout funds TA Associates, Apax, and KKR are being considered by Peak XV to exit its 13-year investment in Prataap Snacks, following failed talks with Haldiram’s. ITC eyes a 47% stake in Prataap. Prataap shares surged 13.78% to Rs 1,336.40 on BSE, nearing their 52-week high.
The company reported double-digit profits in December. Deutsche Bank is facilitating the sale, which may trigger an open offer for an additional 26% of the company.
