Two Indian D2C brands are now at the ₹1,000 crore mark, and at least seven more have said out loud that they are coming for it. That race is our Big Story.
The race: Dot & Key posted ₹1,028 Cr in FY26 net sales, and Libas is targeting ₹1,000 Cr in FY27 revenue. Littlebox, EDT, Niine and Asian Footwears all named their ₹1,000 Cr plans this week.
The money: 12 D2C rounds, over ₹750 Cr disclosed. Boldfit’s ₹400 Cr+ Series B is the week’s biggest cheque.
The number: 15 months. That is how long Bla Bli Blu took to go from launch to a ₹250 Cr run rate and EBITDA positive.
New this week, The Celebrity Shelf: Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and KL Rahul, and why stars are moving from ambassadors to owners.
The Big Story: The ₹1,000 Crore Race
What happened
For years, ₹100 crore was the number every Indian D2C founder chased. This week, the target moved to ₹1,000 crore.
Already there:
Dot & Key reported ₹1,028 Cr in FY26 net sales value (about ₹1,790 Cr GMV), nearly 13X in three years, and stayed profitable. Based on Q1 FY27, it is tracking an annualised run rate above ₹1,300 Cr.
Libas crossed a ₹1,000 Cr annual revenue run rate in March 2026. It now targets ₹1,000 Cr in actual FY27 revenue.
On the way:
Asian Footwears made about ₹700 Cr in FY26 and targets 25% growth, which puts FY27 near ₹875 Cr (our calculation).
Niine grew from ₹32.46 Cr in FY19 to ₹325 Cr in FY26, is EBITDA profitable and targets ₹1,000 Cr+ by FY30.
Littlebox targets ₹1,000 Cr in five years and plans 30–40 stores in 2027.
EDT, co-founded by Naiyya Saggi, targets ₹1,000 Cr ARR in five years across home, kitchen and beauty-tech.
Nat Habit is at ₹330 Cr annualised gross revenue, Boldfit made ₹304 Cr in FY25, and Kay Beauty is at a ₹300 Cr annualised run rate in India.
Why it matters
A ₹1,000 Cr brand is a different company from a ₹100 Cr one. It needs factories, distribution centres, thousands of stores and a team that can run all of them.
It is also the scale where IPO talk becomes real. Investors stop asking “can this grow?” and start asking “can this grow profitably for ten more years?”
Our view
Look at who actually got there. Dot & Key is profitable and sells in 50,000+ outlets, with offline at about 20% of the business. Libas opened 28 stores in FY26 and plans 50+ more in FY27.
The pattern is clear: the brands that reach ₹1,000 Cr are profitable and omnichannel. Online alone gets you to ₹100–300 Cr. The jump to ₹1,000 Cr has come through stores, general trade and quick commerce, with profit to pay for it.
The chasers mostly know this. Niine is EBITDA profitable and building a ₹100 Cr+ factory. Asian Footwears runs a 50:50 online-offline mix. To get to ₹1,000 Cr by FY30, Niine needs to grow about 32% a year (our calculation).
What to watch
Whether Dot & Key’s ₹1,300 Cr run rate holds through the festive quarter.
Libas’s actual FY27 revenue against its ₹1,000 Cr target.
Nat Habit’s plan to go from 20,000 to 2 lakh stores in three years. That is the biggest distribution bet on this list.

The signal: Money is following the Big Story. Boldfit, Nat Habit and KISAH, three of the four largest rounds, are all raising to build stores and offline distribution. Also note Foundry: ex-Dyson India MD Ankit Jain is building premium kitchen appliances, the category we covered last week, backed by operators from Plix and Yoga Bar.
The Number: 15 months
That is how long Bla Bli Blu took to go from its July 2025 launch to a ₹250 Cr annualised run rate, and to turn EBITDA positive.
Six months ago the run rate was ₹100 Cr. Its hero fragrance, Old Money, sells 4,000–5,000 bottles a day, and more than 35% of customers buy again by month three.
Why it matters: Fragrance was supposed to be a slow, trust-heavy category. Bla Bli Blu shows that one hero product, priced right and pushed across e-commerce, quick commerce and stores, can build scale faster than most D2C playbooks assume.
The Celebrity Shelf
New section. Four celebrity-linked brands made news this week. The common thread: stars are moving from ambassadors to owners.
GIVA × Kriti Sanon: Kriti joins as brand ambassador and strategic investor, with inputs on collection design. GIVA now has 300+ outlets and sells silver, gold and lab-grown diamonds.
Alia Bhatt’s Ed-a-Mamma: Six years old, with 12 exclusive stores. Eight of them opened in 2026, across seven cities. The GCC is next.
Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty: One year in the UK, among the top five brands at Space NK stores, and a top product on TikTok Shop within six weeks. In India, it runs at a ₹300 Cr annualised run rate.
KL Rahul-backed Boldfit: Raised ₹400 Cr+ this week, after FY25 revenue of ₹304 Cr.
Our view: A famous face gets attention on day one. Stores, repeat buyers and a product people come back for are what get a brand to year six.
Store Watch
Libas: 9 stores across 5 cities this Navratri. It opened 28 in FY26 (10 the year before) and plans 50+ in FY27.
Asian Footwears: Aiming for 150 exclusive outlets by FY27, plus a ₹100 Cr plant expansion in Haryana.
KISAH: From 12 stores towards 100, after ₹65 Cr FY26 revenue.
Littlebox: The online fast-fashion brand plans its first 30–40 stores in 2027.
Kraus Jeans: About 37 exclusive stores, now in Guwahati, Pune and Nagpur.
P N Gadgil Jewellers: Q2 FY27 revenue up 22.4%, same-store sales up 25.5%. 23 new stores in FY27 takes it to about 103.
Nat Habit: From 20,000 retail stores to 2 lakh in three years.

D2C Insider Updates
FRONTIER Mumbai: one room, one day, countless possibilities. On 10 October, founders, investors and operators filled Novotel Mumbai International Airport for a full day on AI and the future of consumer brands. The room stayed full from the first coffee to the last conversation, with Anupam Mittal’s Shark Unfiltered AMA, Anurag Kedia (Pilgrim) taking questions, and Vishal Gondal (GOQii) on the fireside stage. Our biggest takeaway: the future of D2C won’t be built by AI alone. It will be built by people who know how to use it, and who choose to build together. Thank you to every founder, speaker, partner and attendee who made the room what it was.
Next stop: FRONTIER Bengaluru, 28 November. On stage: Hemant Malik (ITC), Anant Tanted (TIGC), Siddharth Dungarwal (Snitch) and Sarita Raichura (Blume). Register here.
That’s the week. If a brand you know is racing to ₹1,000 Cr, reply and tell us. We read every message.
See you next Saturday.
